Snow Delay Schedule & Information
We follow Santa Fe Public Schools' snow information provided by local TV news channels. If these bulletins announce a 2-hour delay, MDS buses will run two hours later than normal and classes will begin two hours later (at 10:45am). If SFPS classes are cancelled due to snow, our classes will also be cancelled. Please note that occasionally SFPS may change a delay to a full-day closure due to dangerous road conditions. If you see no mention of Santa Fe Public School closures or delays on local TV or radio, buses and schools will follow their normal schedules. See our Two Hour Delay schedules at end of this page. Also, we will put a message on 982-5225 as soon as we can. You can also call SFPS Transportation at 467-3500 to confirm snow information. Remember, snowfalls are often heavier in Santa Fe County. There is no early release for afternoon snowstorms. Our school buses serve other schools first and cannot get here earlier than 4:00 p.m. If a heavy snowstorm looms, you can pick up your child early as long as you come to the front office to sign the "early release" blue pages. Mentorships on Snow Days
Please contact your Mentor directly if there is any question about road conditions. Mentorships should still take place EXCEPT for those mentorships which use our campus as classrooms will be locked. Students are responsible for contacting their mentor directly if there is any question about whether or not a mentorship will be taking place. Therefore, it is vital that you/and your child keep a copy of the mentor's phone number(s) at home, school and work. Please also make sure that your mentor has YOUR home number or cell number. Mentorship Director, Paquita Hernandez, will not be on campus on a snow day to field calls.
Community College classes on Snow Days
Students who attend classes at Santa Fe Community College are responsible for checking directly with SFCC (505) 428-1000 ext. 1.

On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays:
1st Block 10:45 to 11:50
2nd Block 11:55 to 1:00
Lunch 1:00 to 1:35
3rd Block 1:40 to 2:45
4th Block 2:50 to 4:00
On Wednesdays: (Important: note that C block is in the afternoon if a two-hour delay is called on a Wednesday)
B Block 10:45 to 11:35
A Block 11:40 to 12:30
Lunch 12:35 to 1:05
C Block 1:10 to 2:00
D Block 2:05 to 3:00
E Block 3:05 to 4:00
