Special Services (Special Education and Gifted/Enrichment) Students entering Monte del Sol Charter School with an Individualized Education Program are placed in classes according to their individual needs. Our current Special Services program offers a wide range of services including monitoring students in regular education classes, an inclusion model, and separate academic classes. Considering each student's unique needs is the thrust of our program. The goal of the Special Services program is to foster independence in our students while teaching them to determine what they need to be successful in school, in the community, and in their future lives by learning to advocate for themselves. If your child has an IEP and has won a place through our admissions lottery, please contact Special Services Director, Conni Schlee at 982-5225 ext. 417.
