Graduation Requirements
Monte del Sol has more graduation requirements than required by the State of New Mexico. To graduate from our High School, students need a minimum of 27 credits which include:
Four years of Humanities in both English and History; Three years of Mathematics; Three years of Science; Two years of the same World Language; Three years of Arts (Choir, Theater, Dance, Moving Images, Music, Photography, Visual Arts, New Mexico Arts); Two years in the Mentorship Program, as well as Physical Education, Health, Communication, and various electives. These are minimum requirements only. Monte del Sol strongly recommends four years learning a second language, four years of the arts and four years of mentorship.
